Welcome to the StudioLPP

Formerly known as Little Pals Photography.

Photography is more than just a hobby to me. It is my creative expression.

I am a wife and mother of 2 beautiful daughters. My family means the world to me just as I am sure yours means the world to you. I believe every family should have memories they can cherish for a lifetime. I want to help capture those memories for you. Children grow up way to fast then become young adults leaving the nest. Lots of important occasions in our lives that should be captured.

Newborns thru the first year are one of my absolute favorite stages to capture. Don't trust just anyone with that precious cargo. Everything I use at a session is cleaned between clients.

Seniors - If you are looking for more than just boring backgrounds and want a session as unique as you are then contact me today to discuss how together we can create memories and amazing pictures of you!

Senior sessions have begun…..

Seniors are one of my most favorite people to photograph.

I love the fun sessions..  discovering new places to shoot

and making them laugh when they try to act serious…..

I think I have been so lucky that every senior who has walked into my studio

or met me at a park has been absolutely so REAL.  Kind sweet and willing

to do just about anything I ask of them even if they don’t understand why.

We have lots of fun.  laughing and getting to know each other.

Here is my first of many seniors I will be posting on the blog…..

Well a while back I was lucky enough to

get these 2 darling little girls in my studio.

They were planning on going to a model call at the local arts academy

and needed a few pics to submit.

There mommy is a friend and I had her

come on over to capture a few pics.

Thought I would share some of these adorable girls….

I really love my repeat clients!

I love watching little ones grow and change.

Their personalities are all unique.

This family is no exception…..

I have had the pleasure of meeting this family when

Mommy was expecting her little bundle at her Maternity Session.

I got to see him as a newborn and again at 6 months….

And now he is an adorable little One year old.

I drove to their farm and had fun capturing their family!

Here are some of my favorites from their session.

Playing catch up on the blog……

wow  where did August & September go?

Sure has been a busy few months at Studio LPP!

Hope you have had a great summer and

spent lots of quality family time outdoors!

Recently I was contacted by a grandma who

wanted some images of her granddaughter, son & daughter.

We had a fun day at the park!

Started off with one serious little princess

who wasn’t too sure about the person holding the camera.

She warmed up a little and really smiled

when she spotted the dogs out for a walk at the park.

And running and playing in the water were definitely a big hit!

Here are some favorites of mine from this day at the park.

I had the pleasure of assisting a fellow photographer Jen Jensen from PS 139 Photography.

On Saturday July 21st 2012 Ashley Lynn married Jon…..

The day was HOT HOT HOT…..

Wedding took place at the beautiful White Pines Wedding Canyon.

The bride arrived by horse drawn carriage to meet her waiting groom…… as the smile widen across his face in anticipation of Ashley approaching.

Here are some of the images I captured of their day…

I will be adding more images from formals and reception soon!  So check back later!

First Note…………  If you recognize these children please don’t post on Facebook wall where their father can see it!

This is a surprise photo session.  He is currently deployed and Mom is going to surprise him by sending him some photos.

Once it is safe to talk about these cute kids to the parents on Facebook I will upload actual pictures to tag both parents in!

So now on to the fun part…… sharing some sneak peeks of the studio session with these 2 cuties!

Their mother is friends with my oldest daughter and I could hardly wait for them to make the trip to Illinois to visit family so that I could take some pics of them.

First off we have sweet little “L”

She sure was strong and knew what she liked and what she didn’t……  She practically refused to share the spotlight of pics with her brother.

Posed shots with the two of them touching in any way ended in her arching her back and pushing her brother backwards.  It was pretty comical.

I did get a few but more on that in a bit……

Next up with have big brother “E”

Here is a sweet shot of “E” with the Daddy Doll……  You can feel the love he has for his daddy.  This Daddy Doll also came in handy to put a smile on his little sister’s face too.

Then we have his “I am not gonna smile and trying not to laugh” face……..  Which my youngest gives me quite frequently.

But then he decided to smile some more…..    UNTIL………..  we tried another sibling shot.  lol  Of course this was his “But I wanna go play with Avery” face…..

Kids will be kids……  You just have to roll with it…..

Then we did manage to get some shots of them together.  We improvised…..  Near but not touching.  and a bit of smiling and laughing too!

And as usual I just don’t know how to share only a few sneak peeks……  But believe it or not there are at least 40 more images for mom to look thru besides these posted.

It was definitely an interesting session with losing power the night before and worried we wouldnt have power to do the pics…… then having power go out again in the middle of the session.

Grabbed my studio lights portable battery pack and kept on shooting.

Well I sure hope their mommy enjoys this sneak peek while I work out the bugs in the online proofing program I am using……. She is headed back out of town in the morning and I wish her safe travels.

“A” I will get you the link to your gallery as soon as I get the kinks worked out.  (upgraded program and its giving me fits)

AND DONT FORGET TO KEEP THIS A SECRET FROM THEIR DADDY FOR NOW!  Please dont go post on their mommy’s Facebook wall about loving the pics……….  Well at least not yet 😉  So if you want to let her know you love them be sure to leave a comment here !

A few weeks ago I met up with one of my favorite clients……..

They have been coming to me for pictures since their little man was just a newborn.

Hard to believe he is now 2 years old.

Time sure does move way too quickly…..

We headed out to a park/museum area that had a train.  Safety first when it comes to taking clients pics.

NO WAY would I put a little one anywhere near a real train track.  Even my Senior clients maintain a safe distance to active railroad tracks like in my last shoot.

Ok so no client in this next pic……….  but wanted to share an area we attempted pics with this little guy……  unfortunately he had more fun running around the circle path. He is one fast little guy.  Trying to keep up with him was…….. well a bit challenging.  haha  Well honestly all 2 year olds make you work for those pics, its all part of the job description.  I love it!

I did catch this shot of him off on his own mission that I thought was adorable and deserving of a quote…..

Funny thing was his most favorite part in the park appeared to be a ramp to the gardener’s shack.  He loved running up and down the ramp.

Those little guys do make you work for it, but the payoff is awesome! So cute!

Finishing up the last of the senior class of 2012.  This senior came in for last minute yearbook photos and then came back for outdoor photos when weather improved.

Here are a few (yes ok more than a few – but heck I just can’t pick a few to share)  pics from his outdoor session.

We had a lot of fun………

Could Not Decide which train pic to share…………  So had to share 2…… 😉

Was going for a bit of a fun dramatic look on this one……  Everything in the image is real……. just enhanced a bit in processing for a more dramatic look……

Hard to believe its already been a year since this little princess first came to me for pictures.

She makes us work for those smiles but when she smiles she melts hearts.

I feel very honored when I get to watch my youngest clients grow.

Here are a few of the studio and out door pics from her latest session………

ok maybe more than a few….. I can never pick just 2 or 3……  😉

And just so you can see how much this little princess has grown here are a few from her other sessions

Miss Madeleine is back on the blog…….

Since we are finishing up her outdoor pics after graduation I just had to incorporate the cap & gown.

And just in case you missed her the first time around. (she was posted on my old blog)

I will recap a few images from her studio session to capture a yearbook photo.

I had lots of fun at our sessions….. good luck at college!
